Oklahoma has suffered catastrophic damage these past few weeks from multiple tornadoes and severe weather outbreaks. The heavy rain throughout the central plains is wreaking havoc on communities close to the Arkansas River and area lakes, flooding many homes and businesses. Long-term effects remain immeasurable as the threat of storms continues to plague the forecast.
This is our community, these are our neighbors, and our friends. To help ease the burden for affected families, we are donating 1% of all sales to the Tulsa Area United Way to assist in support and disaster recovery in our local community.
The Tulsa Area United Way invests all contributions locally, and is a locally-governed, independent 501c3 non-profit organization. Over 90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to local services, impacting hundreds of thousands of lives each year. It is independent of United Way Worldwide and other local United Way organizations. The Tulsa Area United Way is governed entirely by local volunteers, and decisions made by other United Ways have no impact on decisions made in the Tulsa region.
