Encore Life is guided by an Advisory Board of medical and scientific professionals who help us hold a high bar for product quality, formulation discipline, and educational integrity.

Encore Life is built on a foundation of more than 80 years of combined pharmaceutical experience across our leadership team. Our Advisory Board extends that bench. The clinicians and scientists who advise us help us evaluate the evolving science of CBD and related cannabinoids, review our formulation decisions, and hold our customer-facing education to what the research actually supports.

Board Members

Dr. Erika Schwartz, MD

Advisory Board Member

Dr. Erika Schwartz, MD, is an internist and the founder of Evolved Science in New York City, where she has practiced for more than 30 years. She is a faculty member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, hosts the Redefining Medicine podcast, and is the author of eight books. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Vogue. Dr. Schwartz earned her medical degree and completed her training in internal medicine. She advises Encore Life on formulation quality and on the standards we apply to our educational content.

Dr. Kenneth A. Bock, MD

Advisory Board Member

Dr. Kenneth A. Bock, MD, is a physician with more than 35 years of clinical experience in integrative and functional medicine. He is the founder and lead physician of Bock Integrative Medicine in Red Hook, New York, and is board-certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Bock graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his medical degree with honors from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He is a published author and a frequent speaker and educator. He advises Encore Life on ingredient quality, formulation discipline, and the standards we apply to our educational content.

What our Board does

Our Advisory Board provides:

  • Scientific review. Independent perspective on the published research underlying our product categories and educational content.
  • Formulation input. Judgment on ingredient selection, delivery formats, and formulation quality.
  • Educational integrity. Review of our customer-facing science explanations to confirm they reflect the current evidence base accurately and avoid overreach.
  • Quality standards. Support for our commitment to third-party lab testing on every batch, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing, and transparent labeling.
What our Board does not do.
  • Diagnose or treat any condition.
  • Recommend Encore Life products for any specific disease or condition.
  • Endorse Encore Life products as drugs, or claim that any Encore Life product is effective for any therapeutic purpose.
  • Substitute for the relationship between a customer and their personal healthcare provider.
